AI tool directories
Where creators actually look for image and video tools-and how to submit a resource without wasting a week on spam lists.
What we submit
Primary asset: the free benchmark prompt pack (and plain-text download). Secondary: prompt generator, video pack.
Category tips: Image Generation / Prompting / Resources. Lead with “fixed six-prompt pack for fair Midjourney vs DALL-E tests,” not generic “best AI tools.”
Priority directories
Free or freemium first. Paid boosts only after the free listing is live.
| Directory | Fit | Submit notes | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| There's An AI For That | Broad discovery | Free submit; clear use case + pricing | Do first |
| Futurepedia | Pro / founder traffic | Free queue slower; pick Image category | Do first |
| Toolify | Large AI index | Tag image generator / prompts | High |
| AI Tool Hunt | Curated lists | Moderated; keep description short | Medium |
| Product Hunt | Launch spike | Launch the pack as a “maker tool,” not a thin SaaS | Optional |

- Directories that require reciprocal homepage links to random .xyz sites
- “Guaranteed DR50 backlink” packages
- Anything that only indexes your domain with spun descriptions
For editorial links (not directories), use the outreach templates in our internal notes and lead with the prompt pack.
FAQ
Is this page only for BestAIImageGen?
We use it as our submit checklist, but the same process works for any free prompt or comparison resource.
What if a directory rejects a “resource”?
Submit the prompt generator as the tool URL and mention the pack in the description.
